Winter Programs Starting Soon

From January through April the Museum will conduct a number of workshops and activities at the Museum and at other locales around the community. Here are the topics. For further information, click on the Calendar of Events link.

TRADITIONAL CRAFT WORKSHOPS

During the winter, the following workshops are being offered in Rug Hooking, Weaving, Knitting at Cabot High School, and Wood Carving.

SQUARE DANCING

Square dancing workshops began in October, in the the United Church Hall in Cape North, and will continue until April. If you have always wanted to learn how to square dance, this is your chance! Dancing takes place with live music, and refreshments are provided. All are welcome and beginners are especially welcome. Instruction is provided.

STORY TELLING SOCIALS

Beginning the last Sunday in January, from 2 to 4 pm, and to be held in 5 local communities there will be monthly Story Telling Socials. Come with your stories, photos or artifacts of days-gone-by. Music and refreshments served up!
